SimGeM
SimGeM (Symposium on Genetics, Improvement and Conservation of Plants) is an annual event promoted by EuGeM, with support from the Graduate Program in Genetics and Plant Improvement (PPGGMP) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). The event was created with the aim of disseminating technical and scientific knowledge, on current issues, to the community working in the area of Genetics, Improvement and Conservation of Plants. During the days of the event, several lectures, round tables, mini-courses, submissions and presentations of scientific abstracts are promoted, which allow a true immersion of knowledge.
Currently, SimGeM is part of the " Plant Sciences Symposia Series" , a global network of scientific symposia organized and led by students from leading academic and research institutions around the world, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience.
In its two editions already carried out, SimGeM was a real success!
